No coal in the stocking, but injured, possibly sliced wrist for one bad boy on Mission Hill who smashed his way into a gas station, police say

Man suffers wrist owie smashing through glass at Mission Hill gas station

Surveillance photos of alleged burglars via BPD.

Boston Police report they are looking for a couple of yeggs they say broke into the Shell station at 1600 Tremont St. on Mission Hill.

One of the two apparently suffered a wrist injury from the glass he allegedly smashed to get in, police say. Aside from the fresh injury on his left wrist, he's described as Black, late teens to early 20s, 5'9" to 5'11" with a thin build. He wore a black jacket, gray hoodie and sweatpants, green camo face mask and black and white sneakers, police say.

His pal was described as having a similar height and build, and wore a black jacket and pants, white face mask and white sneakers with a yellow tab on the back, police say, adding he also wore a green, purple and white or silver bracelet on his left wrist, unlike the impromptu bandage the other guy was apparently forced to don.

If they sound familiar, call detectives at 617-343-4275 or contact the anonymous tip line by calling 800-494-TIPS or by texting TIP to CRIME (27463).

Wearing a face mask while committing a crime but forgetting to pull it over your face.

Mask sales are down as thugs don't even try to hide their identity any longer as they know there are no repercussions for robbery in Massachusetts.

That's complete nonsense. You are always harping on this same theme. Just move to Missouri already.,

I interacted with these guys on that Monday morning. Just called the BPD detective line and got no answer or voicemail option. But from looking closely at this post they may already have what I could have shared.

I mean do we actually wish evil upon someone who broke a window and stole a couple of candy bars? They should both apologize to the owner and pay for the damage. Maybe if the BPS had real tech training like the old days, 18 year olds would have skills and jobs, and businesses would be able to find qualified workers. Not everyone needs to get a vague college diploma. Learn something interesting and useful.

They were about a dozen or more boxes of vaping materials including actual vapes. Not candy bars @anon. Are you just here to troll or is that one of the other anons?

but I don't see any movement towards fixing the underlying problem. Maybe kids would see beyond the current life if they had an occasional visit to the park by a couple of minority tradesmen driving their bike-crushing F250's, handing out fact sheets about opportunities in the trades. The tough transition may be getting up at dawn, being on time every day, and laying off the weed. Ayanna and Michelle could come along and wring their hands, which seems to the main thing they do, apart from spending and blaming other people for everything that's wrong.

@one of the many anons; The only Trade school that's not a college or a private institution is Madison Park High School.

If you do not know someone in the Trades you are not getting a job regardless of your training. Have you listened to Elon or Vivek lately? Americans are to dumb to be engineers so that's out. To get into the Trades, it's who you know, not what you know.
