Hyde / Jackson
Has become a really unsafe place lately. There was a Huge brawl in front of the barber shop after a resident saw a suspect stealing an elderly neighbors bike, then subsequently was jumped by a group of teens. There were numerous teens jumping people off their bikes at the jackson path. several people have been robbed by these teens as well.
Agreed
Agreed. I live here and these incidents seem to be multiplying faster than I can remember. But A) Regardless of a good price, I'd never go for a Beats Craigslist deal at Mildred C Haley at night; B) Why was her iPad visible? Put that shit in your backpack. It's Jackson Square. C) Yeah. Punks who are victims of a systemic problem that they can't get themselves out of given lack of proper parenting at home , if they have a home, without an emphasis on education. Education = prosperity. As much as I'd love the new Jamaican restaurant in Jackson Square to get their liquor license with a 1:00AM closing time, I'll never be near there at that hour. We need a lot of new retail and housing in the area to change this.
