The South End News reports a newcomer has jumped into the 3rd Suffolk race. Ryan Higginson is in HR at Suffolk and has been involved in the city's Young Bostonian Advisory Council.

I smell a plant....split the South End Vote and Sal's guy walks with it. The kid is being used....sad!
There are four candidates
There are four candidates now; don't forget Lucy Rivera. She lives on Beacon Hill, I believe.
The shame is that all four are Democrats so they have to fight each other in the primary. Presumably, there will be no Republican candidates, so the winner of the primary is the de facto winner of the special election.
Democracy would be better served if we had two of them fighting each other for an extra month, between the two dates.

What exactly makes him a kid? Both of the state reps from my hometown were around his age when they first ran, and won, their respective offices. In fact there are many instances of young politicians in this very state who have run, and often won, many of whom are quite a bit younger then this candidate. I do not think you are being fair at all.
