I didn't see him myself (having spent the entire day in Roslindale), but my correspondent is very knowledgeable in the differences between Spare Change Guy (tm) and generic Spare Change paper sellers.

I know -- I was referring to the first commenter in my question. I've never seen Spare Change Guy selling any papers, so I don't know what the first commenter is referring to.
