Boston's largest, most award-winningest newspaper has a handy tip for Beacon Hill parents on Halloween: "Wash any loose rat droppings from your kid's candy before ingesting."
Also alerts us that lots of college students live on Mission Hill and that drug users have been known to frequent Central Square.

Ya but
Have you seen Beacon Hill on trash day? Not that Halloween is
on trash day, but it is a bit of a pig sty. I think my upstairs neighors
have a alarm set so they can have their trash out at 5PM on the dot. Champion trash places often beating their neighbors by 6 hours or more.
And I have friends whose most indelible memory of BH is the rats.

Guarantee to you there are more, and more prolific, drug-buyers on Beacon Hill than in Central Square. They just can afford nice, locked-up homes to use it in.
