Gay math

A Superior Court judge rules Rhode Island gays and lesbians can get married in Massachusetts.

Lissa Harris does some quick calculations and concludes: Good news for the Bay State economy.

Adam Reilly notes a potential battle between AG Tom Reilly, who says he won't contest the ruling and Presidential dauphin Mitt Romney, who really, really needs that evangelical vote and so tells Reilly (the AG, not the columnist) he'd be more than happy to suggest some ad-hoc legal representation for the Commonwealth to appeal.

I would be more than happy to provide Mr. Romney with several recomendations of places up which he may shove his letter. I mean, unless he can fix the UMass system...then the gays are on their own!

Becoming the Las Vegas of gay marriage is not a bad idea.

Las Vegas makes lots of money as a tourist attraction and a place for straight people to marry, responsibly or not.

We should take this opportunity to provide gay people with a service that is in demand and that no other state will offer.

Romney's opposition is all for show.

Even if MA were to vote against gay marriage Republicans would still hate MA as much as they hate France.

I could just see the new TV adds showing happly married men and women, and men and men, and women and women walking down the aisle.

Hotel packages in Cambridge, Overnights in Noho.

Romney is just mad that he can't have the same kind of a marriage his grandfather had.
