Violent crime: Up or down? And more debate notes
Blue Mass. Group links to an FBI report showing that Massachusetts does have the highest violent-crime rate in the Northeast - even beating, gasp, New Jersey. Also, says Healey lied about the number of police on the street.
Hub Politics acknowledges that report, but says the real story is that violent crime in Massachusetts went down under Romney/Healey - Massachusetts was already pretty violent before they took office.
Hub Politics also provides analysis of the entire debate, basically, Healey is developing a glowing aura behind her head while Patrick looks like a man destined to take up residence in a cardboard box under a turnpike exit come Nov. 8.
Pundit Review found the debate format seriously wanting and proposes a new format to eliminate the sound-bite-itis.
Blue Mass. Group provides yet more proof that Jon Keller doesn't always let facts get in the way of his mouth.
John Daley says he's had enough of stand-up comedian Christy Mihos.
Joe Dwinell says he needed a shower after the debate:
The hate was sticking to me as incessantly as the goo on the table I wrote on.
As proof, he provides a "Healey sucks" audio clip.
The Outraged Liberal says Healey is blowing smoke on allege savings from the elimination of turnpike tolls.
Lance says it was hard to choose which moment was Healey's low point in the debate, and so summarizes them all. He adds:
... Mihos had a couple of good lines, but it seems like he just seems to hear himself talk. My wife says he reminds her of a bobblehead doll.
