wonder if they ever figured out who stabbed the poor fellow found last year on a bench at the east bank of the Muddy River
because victims of crime in that area are presumed by some to either be gay or homeless people using the park for their respective purposes there isn't always the most vigorous investigation into such deaths
You forgot about the homeless

You forgot about the homeless guy that was severely burned and died in the hospital last year. Don't think he was ever identified. The women who were raped over the past few years as well. No news about how any of those went.

Well the DEP wasn't hellbent on protecting the environmentally destructive invasive phragmities then the ecologically and public safety issues would be taken care of in a day's worth of mowing.
No, it was in the river

Sounded like on the Mother's Rest side.
Could have come from either side

They pulled the body out onto the Mother's Rest side, but it was right down where the river runs under Boylston Street, and the Victory Gardens are right on the other side of the river from there.

It's not like it's a really wide river.
