Was the Big Dig driving range in Southie or Eastie?

WBZ, which broke the story of the ventilation building converted into a driving range, says South Boston, near where that tunnel collapsed. The Globe, playing catch up, says it's near Logan Airport in East Boston.

Who's right? Or are there two of them? In any case, shouldn't the turnpike authority be opening it (them?) to the public? Might be a way to recoup some of those overruns.

Oh, and a question to Joe Bergantino: First, congrats on breaking the story. But, dude, don't you think calling it "one more sorry tale of waste and mismanagement" is a bit much? It's not like they were using Big Dig concrete to build swimming pools at their homes or putting up shoddy walls that wound up crushing a woman to death. They put up a net inside a concrete building and hit golf balls at it. Like you've never done anything silly at your office?

Tip of the golf cap to Abnormality Arises for noticing the location conflict.
