You honestly don't think a billion dollar contract to build a casino in a town that borders Boston is a news story?
What is a news story in your world? Armageddon?

Largest contract ever for a local company. Lots of local jobs. Also means the project is more than just talk and we'll see physical work taking place soon.

Politics and old school morals aside, bringing in jobs and a lucrative industry is great. Bostonians need to stop being so damn prudent on everything...

If you got in on the ground floor, it was a lucrative industry for a few years. Now it's become a rather crowded market where the casinos are fighting each other for a stagnant customer base. The frauds who promoted casinos as a financial windfall for Massachusetts have pulled the wool over a lot of eyes.

People are concerned, because, first, the casino will create huge traffic problems all over creation, and we have a big enough congestion problem without a casino being built in this general area.
Secondly. I think people are also concerned that it won't work out, overall the way it's supposed to work, if one gets the drift.

He might get an out-of-state contractor to head up the project, who would then turn around and hire Suffolk as lead subcontractor. Assuming this would be a union job they would have to be involved due to the size of the project.

Local developer, but I bet a lot of the workers with be far from Everett and Boston, including NH, not local at all.
