Hope everyone is OK
First and foremost I hope everyone is OK and no one was seriously injured.
Second and much less important is...it is very inconsiderate to your neighbors to have 15 people on a deck at 10:00pm.

Bros become yuppies then they become former yuppies. Isn’t that how you got your start formerly?
At 10 PM on a Saturday night?
If you don't want to hear your neighbors having fun at 10 PM on a Saturday night, might I suggest moving out to the suburbs, where you can get a nice big lawn separating you and them that you can yell at the kids to stay off of?
Know what?
Most suburban areas have people out on their decks - and joining friends for drinks and grilling - at 10 pm on Saturday night.
Ok, move out to the country then
The point is if you're annoyed by neighborhood noise at 10 PM on a weekend night, maybe the city is not for you?
Thank God nobody was down

Why hasn't anyone built a deck in the last century that could hold up the weight of any more than two bros at a time?
Ledger Failure
It looks like the deck failed at the ledger, you can see that the whole thing sheared off the house. This would've then wrenched the joists out of their hangers at the front of the deck. This is a common failure mode and everything here screams "code violation." Assuming the deck is 8x10 it should've been able to accommodate 3200 pounds or about 20 people, plus a safety margin.
It's a miracle that no one died.

A ledger board is the lumber used to join the deck to a building. You put it flat against the house and jam a lot of specialized screws in it. Then you attach brackets to it and hang the joists off it, typically spaced 16" apart. Ledger boards are typically 12" wide.
In this case the whole ledger ripped off of the house. I can tell because there's no ledger. This is how most deck collapses go down. A couple of fifty cent ledger lock screws probably would've prevented this, though the deck is a piece of shit.
