Boston Police report a guy has been looking for chain-wearing seniors getting off buses or trains in Hyde Park, Mattapan, Jamaica Plain and West Roxbury, then following them and ripping the chains off their necks. Read more.

Boston Restaurant Talk reports that Mission on Fire, which replaced Sofia Italian Steakhouse, which replaced the Vintage steak place, which replaced Fontaine's and its neon waving chicken, has opened at 1430 VFW Parkway in West Roxbury. It promises "everything from tapas and artisanal pizzas to savory pastas and our signature rotisserie chicken" all with a "bold Latin influence."

There are places to be courteous and let someone in ahead of you, but a Boston rotary is not one of them. A really peeved roving UHub driver from Roslindale is worried somebody's going to get killed if people don't stop stopping in the middle of a rotary to let somebody else into the flow of traffic (reminder for outatownas: People already in a rotary have the right of way): Read more.

White paint on minivan on Lagrange Street next to Billings Field

Three concerned citizens filed 311 complaints this morning about paint vandalism at Billings Field and along Lagrange Street in West Roxbury, including one about a minivan covered in what was left of the white paint left in the can that the vandals left in the street. Read more.
