Live Boston reports somebody was shot in Malcolm X Park, along Martin Luther King Boulevard around 5:20 p.m. The homicide unit was called in just in case due to the severity of the victim's injuries.

Police have recovered some 30 shell casings on either side of Martin Luther King Boulevard near Kensington Street from a hail of gunfire around 9:15 p.m. Read more.

Stanley Staco reports somebody opened fire outside the DCR pool at Martin Luther King Boulevard and Washington Street around 2:20 p.m.
The pool, part of the Melnea Cass Recreational Complex, was quickly evacuated.
Police have recovered evidence of at least five shots, one of which hit the Cass building.
