A surveying contractor hired by the city should start sending crews into the Grove in a couple of weeks to try to mark out the exact borders between land owned by the Department of Neighborhood Development and residents.

A short circuit in wiring between the first and second floors of 145 Cottage Rd. in West Roxbury sparked a fire yesterday that did an estimated $150,000 in damage, the Boston Fire Department reports.

Nobody was injured in the fire, reported at 12:10 p.m., the department says.
