Watertown News reports the city's newest Dunkin' Donuts will soon open at 640 Arsenal St., great news for people currently forced to travel all the way across the Charles River to get to the Dunkin' Donuts at Market and North Beacon in Brighton.

The next-gen Double-D's will feature an area where the franchisee promised people could " 'plug in' and do some work."

The Zoning Board of Appeals today approved a plan by a Dunkin' Donuts franchisee to fill in an empty storefront on Tremont Street at West Street with a new Dunks.

When open, the location means people needing a Dunkin' Donuts iced coffee while standing at Tremont and West will no longer have to walk an entire two blocks to the Dunkin' Donuts at Tremont and Park or Washington near Winter and Summer.

NBC Boston reports on a Saturday incident in which a Proud 'Murrican in Malden decided to scream at a couple of Dunkin' Donuts workers that "Trump is here go back home!" Another woman in turn started screaming at her to shut the frick up and go home herself.

Brand Eating reports you'll soon be able to get Dunkin' Donuts-flavored Pop-Tarts, and in two flavors no less:

Frosted Vanilla Latte Pop-Tarts feature a pastry shell with a vanilla- and coffee-flavored filling with a "tan frosting swirl."

Here, a new Dunk's would be greeted like, "Oh, cool, now we don't have to cross the street to get to the Dunkin' Donuts there." But in San Diego, people reported waiting more than an hour to get some donuts.

The BPDA today approved a mixed-use building where West Broadway becomes East Broadway that will require the demolition of a Dunkin' Donuts.

The proposal, which calls for ground-floor retail - but not a replacement Dunk's - 18 condo units and 23 parking spaces would also replace Perkins Supply at 482 West Broadway, in a roughly $8.4-million project.

The Boston Licensing Board next week considers a request to allow a Dunkin' Donuts to open at 270 Newbury St., between Fairfield and Gloucester.

This would be Newbury Street's first Dunkin' Donuts since the one that used to be down near Newbury Comics closed, saving shoppers the time it would now take them to walk over to one of the Dunkin' Donuts on Boylston Street. Read more.

The Boston Licensing Board yesterday approved a new Dunkin' Donuts at 1621 Blue Hill Ave. in Mattapan Square, meaning purple-and-orange fans will no longer have to make the long trek up to Morton Street or American Legion Highway to get their morning Dunk's fix.

Two men got into a fight at the 616 Mass. Ave. Dunkin' Donuts yesterday afternoon that ended when one smashed the other in the face with a chair, Cambridge Police report:

A suspect and victim - both believed to be homeless - were engaged in a fight inside the coffee shop; the victim was struck by a chair and sustained a cut to his face and transported to a hospital for treatment.

There was so much blood from the gash that officers at first thought they were responding to a stabbing, police say.

State Police report a man and a woman died around 2:30 a.m. when their SUV crashed into a Dunkin' Donuts on the Lynnway at Blossom Street northbound.

Both victims - Salvador Quinones, 26, of Boston, and Silvia Rodas-Dugal, 25, of Chelsea - were ejected from the car during the crash, which ended with the car resting in the middle lane on the Lynnway, State Police say, adding the crash is still under investigation.

Dunkin' Donuts across from Dunkin' Donuts - for fans of the Revere Dunkin' Donuts that's across the street from another Dunkin' Donuts (which you might also recall from the 2014 tornado, in which a bystander pointed to a displaced Dunkin' Donuts sign and said "We're not sure if that belongs to that Dunkin' Donuts on that side or the one behind the Sunoco gas station").

The MBTA is seeking bids from companies that might want to lease 400 square feet of space on the Green Line level of the Government Center stop when it re-opens this spring.

The Dunkin' Donuts on Beacon Street, next to Mary Ann's, is changing its hours from 24 hours a day to 4:30 a.m. to 11 p.m. The Boston Licensing Board considers the license change on Thursday.
