Jamaica Plain Patch reports on a late-night incident at Stony Brook station in which four riders teamed up to capture and detain an alleged cell-phone thief - despite some punches from the guy's accomplices.
I think that's great. But there's a poll on the Jamaica Plain Patch page and I was surprised to see a majority of people said they would react the same way. I'm pretty confident I'd jump to someone's defense in most cases in which they're being harmed. But I'm not sure a stolen cell phone is important enough to warrant risking a possible stabbing or worse.

That is so great! The little
That is so great! The little scumbag lives at 783 Washington Street. I can't find it on Google maps. Is it near Forest Hills Station?
Forest Hills is in the 3000s.

Boston has a lot of Washington Streets
That address could be in downtown Boston, or in Brighton, or in Dorchester, or possibly a few other less obvious places.
Yes, that's my baby
[Ahem] My boyfriend was one of those samaritans. And a few days later, he ran into a burning house to wake people up. He is THAT fabulous.
