Say it ain't so Mitt!
How do you tell someone whom you don't want to hurt their feelings but you don't want to see them anymore. But they just keep coming back.

I'd hate to see Mitt Romney run for the POTUS (and, heaven forbid, get elected), but the Democrats, unfortunately, have proven to be little or no better than the Republicans.

Mitt Romney really didn't know what he was doing when he was governor of the Bay State...that's why he was such a disaster. He would've been an equally big disaster as POTUS.

It's called running for President.

I'm not sure what else you can call putting your life on hold for 12+ years in a quixotic attempt to live in the White House.

But on a good note, at least he has a stack of fireworks sitting around somewhere for that dream of winning.

These are the 3 pols whose names I didn't want to hear again.

At any rate, let's hope Romney is gone from the national scene no later than mid-2016; otherwise, we will have another Democrat for President.

Nice left wing post

Simply the reporting of an item of local interest. If anything, it is of more interest to the right wing, which is trying to neatly tie things up early.

He's got experience with planning the Olympics and as far as I know, he doesn't have a financial stake in the Boston games. That will keep him busy until 2017 when the IOC makes their final decision and chooses a city that can actually handle the games.

First the news that Boston is being considered for 2024 Olympics. Nooooooo!!! Then that Mitt might run again. Double no!!!!! Maybe you've got the solution -- good thinking!

you had your chance, grow up and let someone else play....

...or take a note from your friend Scott and try Canada or Mexico, surely you must own a house in one of those

Whats the big deal, this is America. if he wants to run, let him. He wouldn't be the worst candidate . I dont like the shenanigans with the Clintons. It seems like the two really dont get along, and I feel there will be a lot of internal drama there, instead of focusing on the job at hand ( which is not to posture Chelsea's future).

Maybe this wouldn't be the worst thing. Seems he can't win, so if the Republicans are dumb enough to nominate him again then maybe Clinton (or better yet, Warren!) will just cruise to victory while Mitt wipes his tears on $100 bills

The GOP is attempting to pre-annoint Jeb Bush to prevent an actual primary show down with its wackadoodle fringe. Former Governor Romney could monkey wrench that, and provide enormous quantities of entertainment as they try to outdo one another with their appeal to that wackadoodle fringe.

Huckabee has put his wildly-successful cable show on hold to take what he thinks is his Godly-appointed trip to the White House, and there's still lots of time for the Lord to whisper in the ears of any number of other cuckoos and tell them it's their time too. Don't give up on a primary season to remember just yet!

I've got a kid who will turn 18 just in time to vote in this wide-open primary for both major parties, and we are planning to take in the NH circus on all sides.

All I can say is that this God of theirs must have, ala Depeche Mode, "a sick sense of humor" when he tells several different people to pursue their vanities in competition with others doing the same.

Romney criticized the GOP for pre-anointing McCain in 2008, saying it shouldn't go to "the next in line." He had no issue accepting that same anointment 4 years later in 2012, but in classic Romney fashion, will soon again be criticizing the party of inclusion for pre-anointing Jeb.

McCain and Dole will give Romney a run for his money.
