It's the bridge connecting Broadway and Traveler St in Southie/ the South End. It's named after a white supremacist and truly terrible human being.

Connecting Southie to the "mainland" of Boston. It used to be said of the occasional South Boston resident, "He (or she) has never been over the Broadway Bridge", meaning that person was such a provincial resident of South Boston he (or she) lived an entire life without ever leaving Southie for ANYTHING.

It's the former new Broadway Bridge that was renamed James Kelly bridge after long time Boston City Council member who passed away several years ago. It is the bridge that links the South End to South Boston and connects from South Boston to the on ramps for the Mass Pike and 93 Northbound. and South Station ramps.

Where do you think the homeless were going to move to when they were evicted from their tent city under the highway. The state put up a parking lot and kicked out these lost souls and they now live on railroad property.
