The T is reporting "minor" delays in both directions due to an inbound Red Line train that made North Quincy its final destination around 9:40 a.m.
Happy Wednesday in MA.
They were also announcing "delays in both directions" (I can't remember if they were "minor" or "major"-- does anyone feel like there's a meaningful distinction?) due to a disabled train at JFK, when I boarded around 8:45 this morning.
in their alerts and announcements are "minor", "moderate", and "severe". They don't use the term "major".
They should add "daily" to their delay lexicon
Other possible modifiers to spice up their reports:
the usual delays
entirely predictable delays
utterly predictable delays
