The roof stayed intact, but the judges awarded him points for flipping the truck

Kevin couldn't help but notice the flipped, storrowed box truck outbound by the Fenway/Kenmore exit on Storrow Drive around 5 p.m. (although seems the flipping happened a little after 4).

That man
Knows he's fired. Crouching, hand on head = I know I'm F'd.
The low tech fix
I'm sure there must be a reason why - but why can't they set up some type of overhead with has chains that dangle down and would hit these trucks to alert them they are too tall before the last exit to avoid this?
Because
the chains would block all of the signage repeatedly reminding drivers of the height requirements to use the ultra-convenient Storrow and Memorial routes.
Sincerely,
A box truck driver
Because This Is Massachusetts
The MDC, DCR, DOT, and countless other layers of bureaucracy prefer spending more money on unproven, high-tech solutions, only to let such things quickly fall into disrepair.

OK, This Is Your Final Warning!
On the A-25 in Montreal, overheight trucks receive fair warning by hitting steel guard rails on a hinged mounting:
If they ignore that, they'll crash into this next barrier, well before entering the tunnel:
Even Mass!
Go look at the Boston on ramps to the central artery tunnels. They have a curtian of heavy chain that would be far harder to miss if hit. No need to look to Canada - the state has a solution less than a mile away.
Ya, storrowed
But, with a little more momentum, and a well placed ricochet off a curve, he's back on his feet until the next bridge.
A closeup
I see some bonus points
Way to grind the edge from front to back!
I wonder why this doesn't happen every day anywhere else
Strange, isn't it?
It does
