Chinese place in Dudley Square shut for kitchen health violations
A Boston health inspector yesterday ordered China Bo, 49 Warren St., shut for a variety of violations that included uncooked spring rolls being kept too warm, raw beef being stored in a sink meant only for hand washing, dirty utensils, including knives, rice cookers and cutting boards, rat droppings and at least one live cockroach.
According to the inspector's report, the take-out place also had stagnant water around a toilet, raw meat stored above vegetables and "heavy soils" under cooking surfaces and friolators, oven hoods with grease build up. Also noted as a violation: Hamburger patties purchased at a local Stop & Shop, rather than from a restaurant food distributor.
China Bo can re-open after a re-inspection shows the problems have been fixed.

Whoa!
The fact that a restaurant that serves food to the general public can operate in the above-mentioned fashion, and be so damned casual and cavalier about keeping food at the proper temperatures, and properly storing them, not to mention the health and sanitation, practically defies belief! Here's hoping that the proprietor(s) of China Bo are forced to clean up their act, or be forced out of business altogether.
Most Restaurants...
Are extremely gross. You're better off learning to cook for yourself and loved ones.
I have no kids or husband, but
I do cook for myself and eat at home, most of the time. I do, however, occasionally go out to eat with friends and/or family, but we're all very careful about where we go to eat.
Aww
Isn't that nice.
Where do you get your information?
Awwww yourself!
Where do you get yours?
Well
You did say that you were selective about such things - how do you decide which places are safe and clean?
My friends and I go to places where we've been going to for
a number of years, have gotten to know a number of the people who work at or manage these restaurants, and observed for ourselves how neat, safe and clean they are, and having eaten the food for ourselves, come to know how good the food is.
Do you and your parrot
still go to ChangSho much?
Ha ha ha!!
:-)
