People aren't thinking elections at this time of the year.
BTW- you left out the date in the write-up, Adam.

I think the "What a Difference a DA Makes" campaign by ACLU Mass. has raised interest in who we elect DA. Some of the interest has been stimulated by people dissatisfied with Beacon Hill criminal justice reform.
I look forward to hearing from candidates about their ideas for running Suffolk County DAs office.
I'm sure it wont be the last forum.

It seems like once you get in as DA you can stay as long as you like. They are rarely voted out. I have liked Dan Conley and Ralph Martin before him, but neither of them was ever really challenged at the polls. I hope we like the new one, 'cause we're going to be stuck with them for quite some time.
Fixed it for you:

It seems like once you get in as any elected official in MA you can stay as long as you like. They are rarely voted out.
