At this stage of the investigation, detectives do not believe the victim’s death to have occurred under suspicious circumstances.

Family friend telling me police found Max. “Not the news they wanted.”
@wbz
Body found near the site of the party where he was last seen.
Ouch
Very sad. Young folks are so full of life and then life can be fleeting.
That's really too bad.
It's scary how a life can be snuffed out without warning--at the drop of a hat.
RIP young man
Condolences to friends and family. So sad.
Another press conference
The mayor, the DA, the commissioner and the media are running out out of one liners in expressing their anger at violence in the city.
No Foul Play
The police reported no foul play. I went to school for 6 years on Alleghany which is a dead end (no pun intended) and it’s literally a cliff. It seems he was inebriated and maybe fell off? Very sad situation all around. Maybe the party host(s) can be held accountable for the underage drinking
Fence?
On Google Street View it looks like a fence along Parker Street keeps people off the cliff. I wonder if there are holes in the fence?
You would not reach the area where he was found by just walking off the end of Alleghany.
Yes, My mistake
The part I’m speaking of is actually the opposite end of Alleghany where he was found. Which now makes me wonder what actually happened (alcohol poisoning maybe?). And I hope they did put a fence up because when I went to school there many years ago we definitely always climbed down the cliff to walk to Hillside Park

extremely sad
prayers and condolences to the family. it does look like his friends had his back and reached out to police but the tragedy happened anyway. alcohol consumption can easily can away from you
It could have been a simple accident
There are multiple other possibilitles, but an accident is one of them.
They are saying no foul play?
So young.
