Boston Police report arresting a man they say repeatedly shot a man in the area of Adams Street and Victory Road in Dorchester early Saturday.
Irwin Garcia, 31, of East Boston, was arrested on a charge of assault with intent to murder at 225 East Eagle St. in East Boston around 1 p.m. on Saturday, police say.
Police say officers responding to a report of gunfire around 3:15 a.m. near Adams and Victory eventually found a man in a car on Neponset Avenue near Gallivan Boulevard, with multiple gunshot injuries. Several other people in the car, including a young child, were uninjured.

The earlier story says it was Adams and Gallivan, this one says Neponset.

BPD first spotted the car on Neponset, but weren't able to stop it until Adams?
The reason I suggest that is because Live Boston had photos of the victim being loaded into and driven away in the ambulance, and he knows where he's standing when he takes photos.
