Mattapan man charged with murder on Bernard Street in Dorchester

Boston Police report arresting Yaliek Allah-Barnes, 37, of Mattapan, for the May 18 murder of Derek Fitzpatrick on Bernard Street in Dorchester.

Allah-Barnes was arrested last night on on a warrant charging him with murder, unlawful possession of a firearm - second and subsequent offense, unlawful possession of ammunition and carrying a loaded firearm, police say.

Innocent, etc.
