Pops cancel July 4th concert on the Esplanade

Keith Lockhart made the announcement this afternoon:
This July 4, we're proud to present "A Boston Pops Salute to Our Heroes"! Available only on TV, radio, and digital media, join us to pay tribute to the front line workers and honor those who have lost their lives during this epidemic, while also celebrating our diverse nation. pic.twitter.com/yVtmtTlCqA

I know it would be hard to pull off remotely but if anyone can pull it together it is the Boston Pops...
is the Tanglewood season still going ahead as planned?
Perhaps it's safer to have such events in a sparsely populated section of the state than here in Boston.
Horrible news.
This means I won't get my Boot-Scootin Boggie on this year. I may even be able to stay in the same room as the television this July 4.
