I have never understood why they don't have the chain version of the rumble strips hanging down before these bridges. It can't be good to get hit by a truck, for the bridge.

There are chains and other hanging things at most entrances to Storrow; if a truck hits a bridge, its driver has almost certainly already ignored multiple obvious warnings.

They used to have them on all entrances (I think some are still up) - it's not enough. Trick drivers drive right through them...
