Brigham and Women's to restrict patients to one visitor at a time
Starting Wednesday, Brigham and Women's Hospital will limit patients to just one visitor at a time due to Covid-19 concerns - and no more than two visitors or "support persons" for the entire day.
Visitors to patients in Enhanced Respiratory Isolation beds will face tougher restrictions than other guests: They will have to wash their hands before and after their visit, and if f they think they might get within six feet of a patient, they will have to put on a gown, gloves and eye protection.
Both parents of patients in the neonatal intensive care unit will be allowed in to visit their children.
People needing outpatient care can bring one person with them.
