It was closed all of last year, and it's always closed during the winter. After May 29 there should be no further reason to keep it closed.

One of those obelisks is the Storrow family, a prominent local family before their name came to mean stuck truck. But since Storrow opposed building a road along the Esplanade, perhaps Storrowing is his revenge from beyond the grave.
