Alejandro and his owner reunited at D-4.

Alejandro and his owner reunited at D-4.

Boston Police report finding Alejandro, the missing Fenway chihuahua and the woman they say dognapped him on Saturday.

Police report a D-4 detective got a tip around 10:30 this morning that he could find the dog - last seen at Mass and Cass after his theft - in the area of Old Colony Avenue in South Boston.

The Sergeant Detective searched the area of Old Colony Avenue and observed a female individual matching the description of the suspect on surveillance video walking away from the Whole Foods with the stolen dog on Saturday, August 5, 2023, at around 10:41 AM.

The Sergeant Detective said to the female, “Where is the dog?” which she replied that she did not know. The Sergeant Detective advised the female of the reward for the dog, and the female responded she wanted the money first. The Sergeant Detective stated to the female that he needed to see the dog first.

A few minutes later the suspect returned with the dog, Alejandro. The suspect, Emily Sardo, 24, of Boston, was found to have a warrant for her arrest, and she was placed into custody. She will be arraigned in South Boston District Court. Additional charges will be filed.

There are no exams to be a dog owner.

… a child. Or a caregiver of an disabled or elderly relative.

Though all can lose ownership or custody after harm has been done or seen to be imminent. But only if authorities have the means and inclination to follow through.

I think the comment was about how bright you have to be to steal a dog and then try to collect a reward for it, in person, when you have outstanding warrants.

The reward: a new pair of bracelets.

Can she use the reward as bail money?

Magoo here. Well, Magoo was having a bit of a ho-hum day when Magoo saw this article. Magoo does say that this article certainly turned Magoo’s frown upside down, into a smile, if you will. Magoo’s ho-hum day has thusly turned into a chum-chum day. A chum-chum day is either 1) a day where Magoo is generally chummy and in a good move or 2) a day where Magoo is fishing offshore and chumming for fishies to attract. One can usually tell the difference in what Magoo means when chum-chum day is used in context. Magoo hopes yoo all have a chum-chum day! Magoo.

To anyone that can make Magoo disappear for good.

Need to see him gone before the reward is paid.

… leashed and tied to a parking meter outside the Barking Crab. No passersby showed any interest in leading him away even though the noise from the open windows completely drowned out his prattle.

Hoping one of our city councilors knew what she was talking about, I offered him a big bowl of fresh Fort Point Channel water.

It's a real good thing most criminals are dumb as rocks.

"Show me the evidence of your crime"

"Sure officer, for money"

"Yes there will be money, of course *wink*"

I had to read the Herald to get a lot of details that no other news outlets were willing to uncover or willing to print (no slight on you, Adam, I'm talking about about the large outlets).

I despise the Herald, but don't want to see it go under.

You read the Herald and the NYT.

If you want to be half-informed you read the Globe
