Jared reports that at 6:47 a.m., Boston University sent out text messages:

There is a campus wide internet outage currently effecting [sic] both the CRC campus and Medical campus. This outage is also effecting the VOIP phones on campus. BU IS&T is working to resolve the problem as quickly as possible

However, all is now well again in online Terrierville:

University network core services have been restored. IS&T is working through the validation of all services. As a result of the outage, email deliveries were delayed until restoration occurred. You may experience an increase in email traffic now.
