Workers reach contract deal with two Boston hotels

UNITE HERE Local 26 reports that unionized workers at the Omni Parker House and Omni Boston Seaport hotels today ratified new contracts and voted to return to work tomorrow.

The agreement achieves the Union’s core demands, including historic wage increases, the maintenance of workers’ healthcare benefits, and improved hiring and severance language.

Workers walked off the job on Oct. 14; workers at other hotels, including the Hilton Boston Park Plaza, remain on strike.
