Hand over the money

Milton Police have posted this photo, taken during a bank robbery on Oct. 20 at the Sovereign Bank branch on Adams Street. Customers were ordered to the floor by the two holdup men, who then pointed guns at the tellers and demanded money.

I believe now that all of Milton's banks have been hit within the past year-or-so. We drove down Adams St. to see the police searching for die packs and holding the driver of a suspect vehicle for a few minutes. My hunch is we've got an increasingly desperate drug problem on the South Shore.

BTW, no mention of the robbery at Milton's wee official paper, the Times, which also skipped the story about a restraining order taken out against the town's deputy police chief.
