Citizen complaint of the day: All God's creatures, alive and dead

A citizen looks up and reports a raccoon on a light pole on I Street in South Boston.

Another citizen looks down and reports a really dead opossum in the street on Highland Avenue in Roxbury, adds a note of urgency:

Cars a-swerving, babes a-crying.

Walking my pup this morning I saw a dead mouse on the sidewalk on Eliot St. in Jamaica Plain. All these dead animals. Coincidence....or not?!

The raccoon isn't dead, just on top of light pole. Not that a raccon on top of light pole isn't a sign of someone's apocalypse.
