Damn right, Papi, damn right

Later, Neil Diamond took the field to lead the singing of "Sweet Caroline."
Don't even think of complaining to the FCC. FCC Chairman Julius Genachowski tweeted after the game:
David Ortiz spoke from the heart at today's Red Sox game. I stand with Big Papi and the people of Boston.

Not The God
But surely a deity.
According to TC
Neil just showed up and asked if he could sing, and the head of the FCC just twitted he agrees with Big Papi.
Cable TV gets a pass anyway
Even basic cable channels like NESN don't have to worry about the FCC's profanity rules. All the bleeping you hear on basic cable shows is self-censorship.
However
The FCC does regulate WEEI.
Here's raw video of Papi's speech

Ortiz ignorant
Dropping an "f bomb" in front of clergy and thousands of children was ignorant but typical of this clown. Luckily he is about as intelligible as Menino, so few understood him. Wait until the season starts going south and Ortiz complains about "disrespect" or interupts another press conference trying to have a stat changed in his favor.
