State says South Boston no place for deer, antelope to play; captures that deer

State Environmental Police tweeted around noon they found the Southie deer and "successfully immobilized it" for transport to a location more suited for deer than N Street. The Herald has a photo of the deer moments before it was immobilized.

Usually means shoot to kill with the environmental police. Many a deer and bear has gone this route.

Good thing the deer wasn't draped in the Confederate flag or it'd still be prancing circles around Southie while the Staties, MassPort, BPD, and DCR figure out who has the ungulate mandate.

Deers are ungulates right?

Never let a tragedy go to waste? Deer and confederate flag? Non-sequitur.

It's a reference to the "not my jurisdiction" shenanigans concerning the rag that someone hung on the 54th Reg memorial,

Would've made a fine mascot. No to the Confederate Flag but yes to a Tam O'Shanter - a green of course.
