WBZ reports a Route 35 driver spotted a lemonade stand some kids were running on Centre Street in West Roxbury and pulled over and bought his seven passengers lemonade.
Why is BPD enabling this illicit business operation? Where is the inspector and DPH, these kids need to learn what other lemonade child vendors have Learned throughout the nation.
As soon as I read the headline , I suspected this act of kindness had
been by John. He is the most wonderful MBTA employee, and can
be seen driving many routes to/from West Rox, Rozzie, Hyde Park out of Forest Hills.
I'm so glad to hear this wonderful story so that more can get to know him!
Kudos John.
He's one of the two best drivers on the 3x routes out of Forest Hills - the other one is the woman who always wears a scarf and is always so incredibly cheerful.
Was on a bus once where it was the driver's last day. Before he started the route he stood up and gave a heart felt speech to the passengers (many his regulars) that he loved his route and how great all his riders had been to him over the years and that he would miss them. It was a bus from andrew to ruggles / longwood area about 12 years ago. It was a nice way to start the day.
Thanks - sometimes we need stories like this when were yelling at each other about parking, the Olympics that will never happen, or the endless shootings. This made me smile
I try to keep it PG-13, just because I'm sure Adam doesn't want this descending into 4chan. Rest assured, I'm always thinking something along the line of Tucker's Law.
[But yeah, bulgingbuick, Markkkkkk, o-fish-al, scumquistador: they are, one and all, as useless as a marzipan dildo.]

I think you want Cambridge
Which requires three permits. Boston is far more reasonable and relaxed.
Then they would have to wait three years
just to open.
kudos John!

Whoa. I remember this day too or something similar on this route. I remember at least one passenger handed the driver a gift bag.

Come on, Malc...
I always expect your responses to have a bit more, shall we say, flavor.
I disappoint myself, too.

Malcolm your keyboard diarrhea
may be caused by a lack of understanding sardonicism.

Some of the "satire" here...
