Green Line closures cancelled
By roadman on Wed, 01/13/2016 - 12:30pm
for tonight (1/13), tomorrow night (1/14), and next Monday night (1/18)
Just got this T alert:
Update: The evening Green Ln supensions between Park St & Haymarket scheduled fo Jan 13, 14, & 18 have been cancelled
Nothing posted on the web page yet though The notice about the suspensions has been removed from the Green Line "Service Alerts" page, which IMO will only confuse those who previously heard about them and are looking for confirmation.

Any idea why?
Did they find the closure was unnecessary in order to do whatever construction was planned? Or is it being postponed to a later week?
I'm still researching that
If I find anything, I'll update my post.
T anti-matter
Probably because an unintentionally-caused problem got in the way of this intentionally caused one, and the two cancelled each other out. The system is so unreliable they can't even cut service reliably.
Theres a rumour going around
Theres a rumour going around the tweet about the closure cancellations was due to a signal problem and that actually the closures are only being delayed for schedule adjustment ?
Don't worry, there's another
Don't worry, there's another closure DIRECTLY behind this one...
"Attention, Park Street Green
"Attention, Park Street Green Line Commuters: This evening's closure has been cancelled. Please take the Winter Street Passage to Downtown Crossing to connect to an Orange Line closure to Haymarket!"
Outdated info...
That was going to be the case, but that was interrupted by a power issue causing a disabled trolley and they had to shut down the station for police action, causing moderate delays in the closure cancellations.
So they can't even cancel
So they can't even cancel service on time?
