So naturally they'll vote for his pal Trump.
If you don't understand this, Boch adds, then you're obviously not single like he, well, isn't. Also: Being a rich-guy supporter of Trump gets you out of traffic tickets.

Not even President yet and President Trump and his friends are already doing favors for each other. Sounds kind of corrupt to be letting someone off of a ticket just because they are supporting the same person. Even worse when the beneficiary thinks it is so benign that he mentions the story on national television.
I will give the benefit of the doubt to the officer that he let him off for other reasons (people get off without tickets all the time) and happened to be a Trump supporter as well. It would still hold that Boch believe he got off the ticket because of his political leanings AND is bragging about it. That says quite a bit about trusting Boch's political opinion on how the Government should run.

Unfortunately, he's a Koch puppet.

I can't stand Rand Paul.. what a crazy mouth piece. The dude is insane..
RON Paul maybe.. he's not as vapid.
Yes Rubio... The closeted homosexual who used to go to Circuit Parties in So FL in the 1990s.
And the of course.. Ted Cruz. I shared this on my facebook wall today. Revolting (Sorry non-FB users, I can't put this elsewhere since it's a re-post)
I really hope they deem that Cruz cannot run because he doesn't qualify. I'd love to see his sorry ass cry and whither away.

Either the person is bat shit crazy, super conservative, or not a strong enough candidate to carry thru to November.

Someone needs to jump in who's in the middle, because between Trumps Maoism and Bernie's full blow communism were fucked. One will drag us into a war and the other into bankruptcy!

You've got old white delusional Bernie Sanders who wants to tax the country into oblivion and soon to be indicted career politician and elite, Hilary Clinton. If you are one who thinks she did no wrong, remember General Petraeus was prosecuted and forced to resign over similar but FAR less egregious behavior and abuse of classified information...

I HAVE health insurance and I paid out my full deductible just for basic medications and doctors visits for a chronic condition. No hospitalizations, no crises, just basic stuff. That's about $4000 out of pocket every year and it does nothing to lessen the anxiety of what I'd do if something really bad happened. You think I give a shit about the extra taxes I might pay with a single payer plan? Please.

By anon
Fri, 02/05/2016 - 8:00am
If you have private insurance you're already paying for other people's healthcare in the form of high premiums. I go to the doctor once every 2-3 years for a check up, no problems, no medications, young and healthy, and my insurance just keeps going up and up and up. It's not because I'm the one using it. I'm paying for other people, old people, smokers, drinkers, etc, to all get health care.
If I have to do that either way I'd rather do it through a channel where some dipshit CEO isn't skimming 20% off the top in addition.

Which of her adoring biographers was Hillary f**king? Because it's slipped my mind. And you do realize that the information in the emails was not classified at the time?
Honest to god--I don't even like Hillary that much but the crazy-pants vitriol thrown at her by you loons is beyond belief.
Its that "vast ring wing conspiracy theory"
By ccd
Fri, 02/05/2016 - 11:54am
Seriously... So the FBI that has been investigating and therefore perpetuating this scandal? Vitriol? More like the fact she broke the law, lied about it, lied about lying. If this was a republican, I'd be equally angry. This type of behavior should not be tolerated.
And your talking point about the information "not being classified at the time" is flat out wrong. Its been proven false ten times over. Just lazy. Good try though...
"Clinton’s flimsy claim never to have handled e-mails labeled classified imploded recently when an e-mail sent June 17, 2011, became public. That morning, Clinton’s aide Jacob Sullivan informed her that a document could not reach her via a secure fax. No sweat! Clinton replied, “ . . . turn into nonpaper w no identifying heading and send nonsecure.â€
So, Clinton knew about these classified markings and, even worse, instructed her staffer to cover them up and forward her that document via a fax machine vulnerable to spies. Clinton’s “gross negligence†may have violated the federal Espionage Act, 18 U.S. Code § 793."
Naw, I don't feel sorry.

Trump is a creation of the party. They own him. He did not just drop out of the blue sky.
The party is as it is because of the beds that many of "old timer republicans" climbed into.
You embrace party crazies to win elections then you have to deal with the crazy, eventually.
With all apologies to your parents. I would not include them in this mix if they like Kasich. Too bad he is not getting much (any?) air time.
I still do
By cybah
Thu, 02/04/2016 - 1:57pm
I agree with what you are saying.. but I think its more that this party has morphed from the Dole-Era republicans and has been taken over by these tea party crazies. There's still plenty of moderate republicans who are against these crazies that are trying to run the party now.
Hell even Bob Dole himself says the party is not the same as it was years ago. And even some old timer GOPers are joining the Democrats and/or supporting Bernie Sanders.
I agree.
By whyaduck
Thu, 02/04/2016 - 2:09pm
Unfortunately, the more traditional (i.e. sane) and/or moderate republicans are mostly out of the party loop now. What remains to be seen (and this is what makes it so interesting) is to see how the party is further transformed...or not.
Don't forget about...

... The dems. Looks at JFKs policies, he would be classified as a staunch conservative in the day and age. Today's progressivism is far more left than many Democratic positions of the past. See the current "social justice warrior/PC police trend" which is almost akin to Stalin style politics.

Every time I think I've seen the week's most breathtakingly stupid commentary, I get proven wrong. This guy manages to backhandedly insult someone who he supposedly supports ("Well you have to pick ONE guy, and even though they all suck, he sucks the least"), show some pretty appalling misogyny, AND paint himself as the kind of douchebag rich kid that cops don't ticket because his daddy knows the mayor. That's my point: he didn't come from nothing. His father worked hard (and was a bit of a brute while he did it, from what I hear) to create a small fortune. Papa Trump was able to loan his son a million dollars - something that relatively few parents can do, you know - and Sonny Trump built an empire with it. I'm not blind enough in my distaste for Donald Trump to say he's never worked a day in his life: he has, and he's done some smart things with that money.* But to say that he's just a blue-collar boy who pulled himself up by his bootstraps is nuts.
*PLEASE don't take this for an endorsement. I'd rather see a monkey as president.
