The way the MBTA is running would lead one to believe that the MBTA is supporting the shutdown.

During the last shutdown the ever pleasant dog owners of Charlestown tied their dog shit filled baggies to the fence around the trashcan at the monument in dignified, quiet protest of the stalemate. The rangers didn't get paid AND had to use scissors to cut the bags down once they got back.
