What was the murder count in 2018 vs. 2017?
Condolences to the victim, family and friends of the man. How did 2018 end up vs. 2017 on the Boston murder rate? I know it was a near tie around Christmas with a week to go.
56 v 57
And 2 of the 2017 57 were murders that occurred in previous years but classified as murders in 2017, so basically a tie.
Better than when we were going into triple digits, but between that time and this time I recall a 29 murder year. Big numbers or small numbers, it stinks for the dead and those who love them.
