La Taqueria Taco Bar and Grill, open for a couple years now at Hyde Park Avenue and Canterbury Street in Roslindale, hopes to open a second outlet on Washington Street in Dedham, at the rotary with Providence Highway - next to UBreakIFix.

Let's Taco Bout This Location

Unfortunately this restaurant will quickly fail at this location as has every other business has that tried to make a go of it there. There is zero parking and very pedestrian unfriendly. It's basically inside one of the busiest rotaries around and under an overpass.
Yep, it's a horrible location

Two things that might work in their favor:
Dedham Square seems to have become a bit more of a walking place in recent years - there are even apartments right across the street and down the block from that location now. And their food helped them thrive in another location that isn't really all that good, either (if not quite this bad) in Roslindale.

yes, there was a Papa Johns that opened in that spot and quickly closed. Don't think it even made it a year. I wish them success but that is just a terrible spot.
That picture makes me sad

I have zero knowledge of this story beyond the headline but isn't it apparent that this location move is akin to hospice? No business gets outta that strip mall alive.
And just wait until the recession really kicks in, kids.
Us old folks have been here before, so go ahead and laugh while we're nailing our shutters and running for our cellars.
'Cause this one, oooh boy she's gonna be a biggun'.
One shitty location

To another. The rotary is a cluster fuck, plus there’s a good option with plenty of parking in Dedham center.

There's Pancho's Taqueria right around the corner on High Street. Maybe the competition will lower the prices on these places that sling over priced "gourmet" street fare.

The Hyde Park ave spot is not much of a better location. there is less parking. The thing that concerns me is that there is another taco spot that just opened two doors down. (el Centro)

After reading these “comments” instead of being so negative, throw some positivity they’re way? I know restaurants that are in bad locations but that never stopped the people from going there. It’s not all about the location and the appearance of how it looks, it’s about the food. No one wants bad food but good location.
