Brigham and Women's Hospital is now offering Covid-19 testing at its physicians' office at 1337 Hyde Park Ave. in Hyde Park.
Testing will be available seven days a week between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. to Hyde Park residents who are at least 15 and who have a new fever, cough or shortness of breath or who have lost their sense of smell or taste.
No insurance is required, and people will not be asked about their immigration status. No appointment needed, tests will be done on a first-come, first-serve basis.

...still, here's the problem...we only accidentally (let's check them all) found a population that was 38% (or whatever) positive and yet totally asymptomatic, because the symptomatic ones were already taken care of. This is the South End/homeless testing referred to earlier in a post by AG.
Until we get an easy fingerstick or something like that, we're going to be missing a significant part of the positive population.

There was a very deliberate effort to test everybody coming into the Pine Street Inn.
And yes, while we may still be falling short on testing, we're seeing a lot more than even just a couple of weeks ago.

The article says no insurance required, it doesnt say no money required. Saying no insurance required doesnt mean they wont harass people for money some time down the road. And if a person tests positive will they provide treatment at no cost and no insurance

Covid treatment is also free in Massachusetts if you have insurance or are on MassHealth. You're not? You can sign up until April 25 at the Health Connector.
