Man learns that if you cough on people on purpose and tell them you hope they get Covid-19, you could face felony charges

The Cape Cod Times reports on an allegedly charming fellow who reacted to being asked to put a mask on in a Plymouth restaurant by deliberately coughing on two patrons and telling them he hoped they just got coronavirus. Police caught up with him and now he's facing charges of two counts each of assault, threatening to commit murder and threatening to bomb or hijack and single counts of negligent driving and disturbing the peace as a subsequent offense.

I would suggest avoiding using "Chad". It's strongly identified with incels. It's their term for the males who get what what the incels don't. Incels also use the terms "Becky" and "Stacey" for their bizarre definitions of women.

Oh come on. Everybody alive has been hassled based on their name before. My grandmother shares a name with a cartoon cow. A slight variation on my name is used as shorthand for "stupid fatty."

Only a real Tim would be incapable of separating his actual identity from an abstract cultural shorthand for one hot second.
