Roman Lilligren wandered the empty, boarded-up Washington Street in Downtown Crossing in advance of Election Day.
On June 1, Downtown Crossing was hit hard by looting following a Black Lives Matter protest at the State House.

Last I heard student rioting was pretty much sacred there after such toppled a fascist regime in 1973 and happens on the regular.

The only actual communist academics I have ever met came from Athens, Greece.

Or are you trying to pretend that the omnipresent They are aiding down-town businesses while ignoring those in low-income areas? This is why we lose elections.

I mean DTX is probably a ghost town today because it is freezing. Was working next to that building for much of the summer and it was always pretty quiet over there.

I'm sitting in my office in Downtown Crossing right now. No, there are not as many people around here as pre-pandemic, but there are a good number of people. It has picked up steadily since the spring.
