By adamg on Thu, 11/26/2020 - 2:17pm
BWSC crews are on scene at Neponset Circle to fix a burst water main that has resulted in discolored water in Dorchester and at Mt. Vernon and Hancock streets on Beacon Hill for a water-main break that the commission says has not affected service there.

Not the hydrant..
In front of Kerry's house??
Actually the Beacon Hill cut through
Hancock is used to get from Cambridge St to Beacon St or also most of the rest of the hill. So there are a pretty steady stream of cars turning around and going back on Dern st. The smart ones realize they can take Myrtle to Joy as Joy south of Myrtle St is totally fed by Hancock.
Water of discolor?
Water of discolor?
Water's normally clear
But with a large enough break, sometimes it turns yellow or brown as it picks up sediments at the bottom of the main.
