WBZ reports a Hudson man already facing assault-and-battery charges for an apparent road-rage incident in Belmont that sent his opponent to the hospital Tuesday afternoon could face more charges now that his victim has died.
Separately, Boston Police officers investigating an argument over trash barrels in Dorchester that ended when one man allegedly pulled out a gun found a mini-arsenal in the man's house when they returned with a search warrant.
Police say two men got into an argument outside 31 Brookview St. around 9 a.m. on Tuesday, something about the barrels, when one of the verbal jousters displayed a gun. Arriving officers arrested him on a charge of assault with a dangerous weapon, then "froze" his house so they could apply for a search warrant.
After they got the warrant, they went in and found "a Sig Sauer 1911 .45 Caliber Semi-Automatic Firearm, an FTL Marketing Corp Auto Nine .22 Caliber Pistol, four magazines and seventy-eight rounds of ammunition."
Police did not identify the man, except to say he is 41.
