![Box of abandoned peaches on Hereford Street](https://universalhub.com/files/styles/main_image_-_bigger/public/images/2022/peaches.jpg)
A concerned citizen filed a 311 report this morning about a box of peaches just sitting there on Hereford Street, between Newbury and Comm. Ave. The city has marked the complaint "closed," adding, "Resolved. Fruit picked up." No word if Public Works will be making some peach cobbler now.

From a food waste perspective, this is a little sad. Whoever had these peaches to give away (before they left them on the street) could have left them at one of the area Freedges.
