Dorchester man charged with shooting 13-year-old in the face

Boston Police report arresting Jashone Bullock, 21, of Dorchester, on charges he shot a 13-year-old on Stratton Street in Dorchester around 8:45 p.m. on Sunday.

The shooting was initially described as a grazing, but police say the teen wound up with a gunshot wound to one eye.

Bullock was charged with assault and battery with a dangerous weapon on a child under 14, unlawful possession of a firearm, possession of a firearm, subsequent offense, unlawful possession of ammunition, discharging a firearm within 500 feet of a dwelling and malicious destruction of property, police say
