Banned from Castle Island? It's enough to drive you to drink

Young seagull with a red cup in the Seaport

Steve Klise spotted this young seagull at a Northern Avenue parking garage about to take a snort in disgust at the attempt to ban him from Castle Island.

Just like you don’t see snow there in the winter, you never see seagulls.

A friend used to caddy down at the golf course Potus 44 plays on MV. Usually the club will give you a bagged lunch to take out on the course if you order one. On this occasion a high roller took off 25,000 dollar Rolex from his wrist. I guess it interfered with his feel for the club or something and put it in his lunch sack. He left the bag unattended on the cart and walked down to the ball.
Heard a sound, turned and glanced up to see one of the winged rogues taking the paper bag airborne. While a generous reward was offered and a search ensued, the ham sandwich and the pricey timepiece were never seen again.

Birds aren't real.

The watch had data and the birds needed it.

Despite the artificiality of the Seaport District (what the H is seaport about this area anyway?) the gulls by the walkway around the Federal Courthouse regularly drop their findings to crack open the shells.

While they probably care not for finding pearls (as recently reported) these gulls love their fresh clams.

I used to work in the Navy Yard. They mostly dropped them on the docks, but sometimes dropped them on our sky lights.

Yes! We've got at least a dozen on the edge of the pier on the Constitution side that have all been dropped. I did see an excited kid picking up a bunch of them for his collection.

For some reason they like to peck at the seams on rubber roofs causing leaks. I read that they like the taste of the glue.

Poor seagull, hustling to collect enough to buy his own fries while he tries to get off the glue. It's been a tough life for a dump chicken since Long Island shut down.

It is time for common sense seagull reform.

Train them to eat rats?
